My love for photography started when I was a young girl, wandering around the house and backyard with a film camera in hand, capturing whatever caught my eye—sunlight through the trees, shadows on the wall, the tiniest details most people overlook. I still remember the thrill of dropping off rolls of film at the store and the anticipation of flipping through those first prints. As technology evolved, so did my tools. From point-and-shoots (where I proudly saved a few forests worth of photo paper!) to the freedom and precision of DSLR and mirrorless cameras, I’ve continued to chase those quiet, powerful moments—whether in the heart of a bustling city or deep in nature. Photography, for me, is about perspective. It’s about pausing to notice the beauty in everyday life and sharing that view with others.
